SELF REALISATION

by srjasferds @ 2006-06-12 - 14:28:10

When persons demonstrate a sincere and faithful friendship
Blended by sharing eternal values even with a short phrase
Which is capable to explode like a dynamo
Which yields eternal and lasting positive change,
When people are not afraid to criticize for a genuine growth
And when people ready to accept the blows and betrayals
Unshaken by adversities and criticism
When people’s inner reservoir is only goodness and peace
When people tell but allow one to make his own choice
When people forgive the prodigal son and accept him
By crowning him with all love and compassion
When people believe that they can grow wrong
When they accept a suggestion from those inferior to them
Friends tell me is it not a self realization or success?
When a person with simplicity strives to excel and reach the peak
But in heart remains at the roots which erected him once
When one know to bend his knees towards the lowly to share a meal
And take a new coat to cover up those who are naked
Tell me friends is it not the real victory of life?

I read the article on success written by Dinakara Rao and still going on ruminating it

A nice piece on realisation and success. To value oneself and yet subordinate oneself to higher purpose and principles is the essence of realisation.Victor Frankl, a jewish psychiatrist who spent a considerable time in concentration camp during world war 11 said that "Every thing can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms, the ability to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances , to choose one's own way"

"To value oneself and yet subordinate oneself to higher purpose and principles is the essence of realisation"
This phrase stuck me very much I shall ponder over it. Thank for your comment. With the prayer that God may grant you His devine grace of friendship with Himself the Absolute
