SWEET QUEEN SLEEP
What a joy after a day’s fatigue on the bed to linger
When Queen Sleep embraces you under the cover
Under sweet dreams you descend deeper and deeper
Surrender in peace losing your self, now slumber
You were worn out after the day’s task that linger
And now the Queen Sleep restores you for better
The new intuition under wisdom’s splendour
You shine radiant and candid for a new adventure.
Sweetly I repose oh! Richness of great Peace
My Mom when she rocked me on her knees
Those golden days from my mind never seize
It’s my joy to sleep and be free from disease
In my suffering I found none to share
The Queen sleep alone freed my snare
In my dream an angel bright and fair
He smiled at me with the oil of care
At the dawn of the day a ray did shine
The night’s dream for me was a wine
Smiling I leapt for the grace divine
With renewed joy and new zeal fine
