WHEN BUDDHA LAUGHS

Well it’s true! I believe that we can sense the presence of something out of this world at least once in a day. If you analyse your day’s activities, certainly you will find some positive things happened to you which you had never anticipated. Well when I meditate, I sometimes feel that the God is laughing at us .Let me share some of these things with you.

Buddha laughs when people bargain with the God. He laughs when they give bribe to Almighty. When they promise to do pooja or abhishek if they get what they want. When they play the game of Give & Take.

Buddha laughs when people donate something with the intention of gaining 10 times that. He laughs loudly when he sees that people ignore the crying child, who desperately needs food and give Prasad to God. He laughs at their ignorance.

Buddha laughs when people pluck the flower without the permission of the plant. They never experience the beauty of the flower on the plant but pluck it ruthlessly to devote it to the God. They never realise that this flower is creation of the God itself and in fact we have no right to pluck that. Let me tell you one thing .Nature treats everyone on the equal basis. For nature the life of an ant has same value as the life of a human being. We from nowhere, with no basis start believing that ‘I am the most important person in this world.’ Buddha laughs on this jejune attitude.

Buddha laughs when people donate thousands and lakhs of rupees and insist to have their name to be announced or to put it on the board. What is going on here? To whom you are giving? My friends, He is the almighty. All the things in this world and many other worlds [I don’t know how many of them are there] belong to him only. Human being is really on of the great creatures. People try to give back His things on their name. Instead of donating the money to the really needy people they try bribe the almighty. On Top of that they first expect the results in advance then they promise to give back something. Buddha laughs when they think that they can cheat God and will get what they want.

Buddha laughs when people use the ultimate tool to Enlightenment: The Yoga/Meditation for reducing their weight and curing their dieses. He laughs when people ask some Baba “I have Diabetes, I am overweight, I have this dieses, that dieses .Will Pranayama help me overcoming these dieses?” My friends, the yoga is not meant for these things. Getting a perfect health is the bi-product of yoga but unfortunately this tool is positioned as dieses curing technique. Buddha laughs when he sees this.

Buddha laughs when in the name of God people blindly become followers of saints. The latest incident which took place at the Mumbai Airport is a paragon example of this. Around 500 so called Bhaktas of Narendra Maharaj blocked the entrance and exit to protest against the Airport Authority, leaving no option for the police but to lathicharge. As many as 50 people were seriously injured .Buddha laughs when we try to achieve peace with violence. He laughs seeing men shouting, yelling while giving the teachings of peace.

Buddha laughs when someone expects getting into the IIM’s with just three-four months of preparation. He also laughs when someone expects to get into the Harvard, The Stanford but sleeps for 8 hours a day, he never stick to his time table, never put full stop on his negative thoughts and most of the time never get out of his inferiority complex.

Try to see what is going on here! Analyse the things with a free mind. I believe that our lives have become nothing but a huge paradox. We expect something and then do exactly opposite of that. We have one outer personality and one inner personality to which we seldom listen. Most of the time we try to prove the things which we don’t posses. In my opinion we remove these contradictions from our lives and align our whole energy of our both personalities in one single direction then we will get exactly what we want. In this case we will be proud of what we have achieved and there will not be trace of guilt in our mind.

Well, its great game that Hide & seek that God plays with us all the time. There is great fun playing this game and when you find His presence in any activity, it gives real pleasure. I believe this is what great people like Swami Vivekananda & Osho call as awareness i.e. seeing the things as they are, understanding their purpose and doing them without a trace of Ego. Well I don’t know really.

Just create that Awareness.
